department of biomedical data science
The mission of the department of Biomedical Data Science at Geisel School of Medicine is to advance scholarship and education for the quantitative and computational analysis of biomedical and health data and to unite and promote Biomedical Informatics and Biostatistics as essential disciplines for the mentoring and academic development of faculty and the training and education of the next generation of data scientists.
Quantitative biomedical sciences program
The QBS program seeks to train highly qualified students in bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology and health data science, for careers in academia and industry.
Dartmouth cancer center
The Cancer Population Sciences program at the Dartmouth Cancer Center fosters interdisciplinary research aiming to optimize patient outcomes across the cancer care continuum.
the dartmouth institute for health policy and clinical practice
The Dartmouth Institute researchers are experts in health care delivery science, working to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the health care system and inform health care policy.
The COBRE Center for Molecular Epidemiology
The Center for Molecular Epidemiology is an Institutional Development Award (IDeA), funded by the National Institutes of General Medical Sciences, now in its second phase, that is transforming the research capacity at Dartmouth's Geisel School of Medicine by stimulating high impact research, and translating cutting-edge approaches to enhance human health discoveries.
Program in Quantitative Social Science
The Program in Quantitative Social Science (QSS) brings together Dartmouth faculty and students who are interested in applying statistical, computational, and mathematical tools to social science questions. QSS offers undergraduates a major and minor, both of which combine mathematical training with one or more of the social sciences.
